Caring for our communities

Who are we?

In 2008, after facing the loss of all our local doctors, a group of concerned citizens got together and the Haugen Community Healthcare Society (HCHS) was formed with the sole purpose of facilitating a Group Medical Clinic for Armstrong and Spallumcheen residents.

A clinic where doctors can ensure the best possible service is not only an investment in our community but also a significant legacy for our children.

What do we do?

Haugen Community Healthcare Society helps to support a clinic facility for the physicians of the Haugen Medical Group.

How is the clinic funded?

HCHS and the doctors share the rental costs. The doctors cover their own operating expenses, supplies, staffing and insurance.

Our Mission Statement

“To ensure a healthy and vibrant community by attracting and retaining physicians and integrated health services, thus, providing local primary healthcare in a timely fashion.”

We need your support

HCHS is a registered non-profit organization. Our income comes from donations, fundraising, membership fees and occasional grants. We rely on the public to take an active role in supporting this primary care facility.

Please help us keep our doctors in your communities. Your donations will aid us in maintaining a sophisticated, up-to-date clinic designed to attract and retain family physicians.

Your donations help ensure that we can retain quality healthcare in Armstrong and Spallumcheen.
